What is Product Stock Alert Quantity?
The Product Stock Alert Quantity is a threshold value set for each product.
When the available stock goes below this quantity, the system triggers a stock alert.
You can define an alert quantity for every product.
When the stock drops below this value, the product cannot be sold.
This helps prevent stockouts and ensures proper inventory control.
How to Enable Product Stock Alert
You can set or update the alert quantity while adding or editing a product.
Steps:
Go to List Products > Add Product or Edit Product.
Find the field Alert Quantity.
Enter the desired quantity for stock alert.
Save the product.
Once configured, the system automatically tracks stock levels and alerts you when the product reaches the defined threshold.
Reports for Product Stock Alert
Product stock alert information is available in both product reports and dashboard indicators.
a) Product Stock Report
In List Products > Stock Report, any product with stock below the alert quantity is highlighted in red.
This helps you quickly identify items that must be restocked.
b) Dashboard Alert
The dashboard displays a Product Stock Alert section.
Products that have reached or fallen below the alert quantity are listed there.
This acts as a quick indication to purchase or restock those items.
